2017 Geraldine Ramos
Geraldine's teacher says she is an excellent student. She is able to excel in school in spite of her family's financial hardships. At the time that she applied for our scholarship her family was being evicted from their home and her father had to obtain extra jobs to keep the family afloat. She says that she felt bad because some of the kids made fun of her dad because he washed cars. She also wrote that she feels a bit sad that she can't go to places that her friends go (like Disneyland or restaurants). Nonetheless, she is proud of her father and mother and she says that even though she may have a tough life, she knows that other kids suffer more than she does. Please help us give MORE to Geraldine and her family. |
